MARFIL approaches its 100th anniversary and its long successful history matches that of the Alella wine region itself. MARFIL Vinacola is the winery founded as a cooperative in 1906 which is the oldest and most known of the wines made in the Alella Denomination of Origin. Purchased in 1998 by Can Jonc, they continue the tradition of excellence through the investment in new lands and vines and the expansion and modernization of the fermenting facilities which will continue to strengthen the winery and the MARFIL name for generations to come. |
